My name’s Simon, an Edinburgh-based Liverpool fan in my 40s. Despite being a Scot, my Liverpool fandom was shaped by having a father born in the city and when Liverpool FC gets hold of you, it never lets go. My earliest memory is of 26th May, 1989 and the devastation of the defeat to Arsenal, but not even that was enough to stop me being a Red for life. A decade or so ago I hosted a Liverpool podcast and wrote a couple of pieces for The Anfield Wrap, but as I’ve decided to get back into creating LFC content I wanted a home for it all, right here.
